Clio Trestle Using 3D Printing - Bill Ewing

The Clio Trestle is a railroad trestle on the historic Feather River Route (FFR) of the Union Pacific Railroad. It is located in the Sierra Nevada near Clio in Plumas County, California. The trestle is 172 feet high and 1,005 feet long.

For our N-scale model railroad FFR, Bill Ewing will present how he dimensioned, modeled, and printed the trestle supports and bridge decking using an Anycubic 3D resin printer to create realistic steel girders. He will also present lessons learned throughout the process that he has been perfecting over the past year.
